Description

Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for 110 each C-17 Comm Box Adapters (High to Low Impedence), P/N: CENC74B-03VC (5895-03-ADA-PTER). The adapters will be used by the C-17 aircrew with their Aircrew Eye/Respiratory Protection System mask to allow communication on the aircraft. This is a small (2?x3?) electronic communication attachment that converts voice transmissions in the cockpit, while wearing the mask assembly, to allow for the ability of all aircrew to stay in voice contact. Mason Electronics is the only known source of this high to low adapter communication system for use with the mask for operations onboard the C-17 aircraft. Delivery is to be made to 60 OSS/OSL, 450 Hickam Ave. Bldg 154, Travis AFB, CA 94535-5044. Required delivery and installation of the product is 30 days. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be consider by the agency. NAICS code 334290 applies. SIC code 3669 applies.
