- Anticipate Issue Date: 8/1/2006. Anticipated Closing Date: 8/23/2006. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System has a requirement for Mat rental/exchange/cleaning services. The contractor shall furnish all plant facilities, labor, material, and equipment to provide mat services, to include pickup/delivery of items in such quantities and locations as stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The performance will be from the effective date thru September 30, 2006 and four one-year options exercised at the Government's discretion. The NAICS code is 812332 and the business size standard is $13 million. The acquisition is a 100% total small business set-aside (SEE NOTE 1). The RFP is available on www.fedbizopps.gov under Department of Veterans Affairs. Potential offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFP in lieu of requesting a paper copy. Request for paper copies must be in writing and mailed to VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Attn: Melanie Hawley (90C), 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531, emailed to Melanie.Hawley@med.va.gov, or faxed to (228)523-4324. All requests must include the RFP number, requestor's name, address, phone, fax number, and an email address. By submitting a proposal, bidder acknowledges the Government requirement to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to award of any contract or purchase order. Information about CCR registration may be found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Award will be made on an all or none basis.
