- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for HVAC Upgrades to OR, ICU and Endoscopy, Building 1, at the VA Medical Center, Providence, Rhode Island. The work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing equipment and construction and certain other items. This construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19.14 and is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be considered a Service Disabled Veteran, the veteran must have an adjudication letter from the VA, a DOD Form 214, or a Statement of Service from the National Archives and Records Administration stating that the veteran has a service-connected disability. The offerors will be required to submit documentation proving SDVOSB status at the time of receipt of offers. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 and the size standard is $13 million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will include price related factors as well as technical factors to be determined. The solicitation package will be available on or about August 9, 2006. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for September 8, 2006 at 11:00 am. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
