- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to perform maintenance work as described with the construction drawings and specifications. The work will be performed on the main building (#1) at the Veterans Medical Center located in Fayetteville NC. All work shall be performed in accordance with the drawings and specs, as well as OHSA and EPA requirements. Work will include the following items: Removal of loose and failed mortar joints. Tuck pointing of cut out joints and missing joints. Lead paint removal and repainting of window lintels and louvered gable vents. Replacement of sealants at windows, wall openings and precast concrete panels, etc.; sealing existing wall grilles; sealing glazing at glass paneled corridor; cleaning and applying waterproofing to all masonry walls. Work shall be completed within 210 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31.0 M. This procurement is 100% service disabled veteran owned small business set-aside. The cost range is between $500,000 -$1,000,000. The solicitation will be available for download at the Business Opportunities System website on or about August 16, 2006. Bidders are responsible for downloading any and all documents pertaining to this solicitation from the website. Paper solicitations will not be issued. Request for drawings must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. Fax requests for drawings will be accepted at (910) 482-5226. Electronic/Fax bids are not acceptable.
