- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) intends to issue a total small business set aside to supply MTU tech service (MTU certification; E3, M3, ECS-UNI and RC5), special tools and all parts not supplied by the CG in order to complete a MTU W5 maintenance ?IAW? manufacturers instructions on both of CGC OSPREY?s main diesel engines. USCG will supply the following components 16 heads, 2A turbos, 2B, 2 raw water pumps, 2 fresh water pumps, 16 injectors, 2 starters. All other small parts will be supplied by tech rep. MTU tech service also will coordinate cleaning of all coolers removed. The contractor must be certified MTU certified. The work will be performed at the cutter home moorage Port Townsend, WA. The performance period will start 05 September 2006 and ends 25 September 2006. The (RFQ) request for quote will be issued in or about 16 August 2006.
