Description

The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with an outside expert, Babatunde A. Ogunnaike,Ph.D., located in Academy Street, Newark, DE to evaluate and discuss innovative process control systems in both industry and biology. The contractor would deliver lectures, presentations, experiments as well as develop case studies that would facilitate discussion on the utility of process analytical technology in designing, monitoring and controlling small molecules and biotech manufacturing processes. This is a continuation of work and training completed under previous contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This award will be made 6 days after the date of this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541710 and the Business Size Standard is 500 Million dollars in assets. The FDA office building is located at 10903 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20993. These justification and approval requirements are in accordance with FAR subparts 6.3. Acceptance shall be performed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at the address listed above.
