- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire Brake and Wheel supplies through the use of long-term contracts awarded against solicitation SPM4A7-06-R-0654. This solicitation is comprised of 32 NSNs used on the KC-135 and C-17. Solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted, Other Than Full and Open Competition. Technical Data Packages do not exist for any of these items. It is not anticipated that split awards will be made against this solicitation. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contract will have a twelve month base period and four twelve-month option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in this solicitation all fall under FSC?s 1630, 1650, 3120, 4710, 4730, 4820, 5305, 5310, 5315, 5325, 5330, 5331, 5340, 5360, 5365. Once released (see opening date below) the solicitation will be found at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/UserWeb/FAGA/index.html and on DIBBS. The solicitation will be issued on 22 August 2006 and close on 6 October 2006. Documents will not be available until the solicitation issue date.
