- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Facility Security Division has a requirement for Construction Surveillance Technicians in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. A fixed hourly rate (Labor Hour) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) is expected. The contract is expected to be for a base year and four (4) one-year options. The cascading acquisition method is expected to be utilized and is further explained in the solicitation. This type of acquisition gives priority to small businesses provided that their proposals are overall technically acceptable and reasonably priced (competitive range). Large businesses may submit proposals but there is no award guarantee. The Contractor awarded the contract shall have the appropriate security clearances required prior to award, which is detailed in the solicitation. The new solicitation number (SAQM-PD-06-R-1076) entirely replaces the previous pre-solicitation number (SAQM-PD-05-R-1038), which was posted in Fedbizopps on March 22, 2005.
