Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0395 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-09. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 314999 and small business size standard 500 Employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: Para-Flite Inc Item Number:810400-4 MT-2 XX Parachute System S/L, CYPRES. The MT-2XX S/L is a Ram Air Parachute Assembly with a seven-cell, 370 sp. ft. canopy used as both a main and reserve. The main parachute assembly is convertible to either free fall or static line. The parachute assembly is made of 1.1 oz. 0-3 cfm nylon ripstop fabric with 600 lb. braided Dacron suspension lines. The pack/harness assembly has provisions for Combat Equipment Containers, Automatic Ripcord Release, and the Personnel Oxygen System. Then pack is mado of 500 denier Cordura. Each parachute contains: P/C, main; Loop, saftystow, innerbag, 7"L; Parachute, MC-5, main/reserve; Bag, free-fall, main, MC-5; Bag, outer, S/L, MC-5; Bag, inner, S/L, MC-5; Drogue slider, control LN, MC-5; Riser, MC-5, main; Res deployment sys, MC-5; H/C MT2XX SL, CYPRES; PCKT, OXY, T53, slip-on; Static line, RES; R/C, main; Loop kit, 2 pin main, CYPRES; R/C, 2-pin, RES; Bridle, P/C; Release, R/C, main; Toggle extenders; Static line, main; Drogue chute, S/L.Color Tan OR CAMO GREEN WHICHEVER IS MORE COST EFFICIENT, 6 EA,OR EQUAL. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.204-9, Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel – contractor shall comply with agency personal identity verification procedures identified in the contract that implement Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance M-05-24, and Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) Number 201.
