Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-06-T-0061 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated FAR provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20060711. Elmendorf AFB requires lease of 6 heated office trailers and 4 insulated storage containers. The contractor shall furnish the these items in accordance with the following Statement of Work: LOCATION OF WORK. Installation shall be completed as an urgent requirement at or near F-15 Flight Simulator, building number 11575, on Elmendorf AFB, AK. Standard work hours apply. 2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. CLIN 0001: Six single-wide, heated office trailers (12’ x 56’) (NAICS: 532120) CLIN 0002: Four storage containers (8’ x 20’)(NAICS: 532120). If available, the storage containers shall be heated, otherwise containers will be insulated. Skirting is desired, but since time is crucial, we request that the units are placed so they're usable and do the skirting work after all are placed. Tie downs are required. Electrical: Max distance would be approx 200 feet. We'll have 3-pole-top 50kVa that can run to the trailers. Please take this layout as a best guess--the electricians are working out there today, so if they run into any obstacles, this layout may change a little bit (also the reason I can't give you an exact distance for the trailers). The 2 secondary poles will be ten feet away from the curb on both sides of the street the the primary pole will be about 150'- 200' from the fence line. Upon award, the contractor shall be responsible for delivery and set-up of all equipment, to include electrical connections. Upon completion of the lease, the contractor shall collect and remove all non-government owned equipment. 3. PERFORMANCE PERIOD. The contractor has 3 days to complete set-up once notified to proceed, but no later than a start of 4 Aug 06. The trailers shall be rented for one year. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
