- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering and Technical Services in support of AN/ALQ-128(V) Type 2 and Type 3 Receivers Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability Improvement. The purpose of this task is to provide engineering and technical services to develop form, fit and function replacements and the associated Technical Data Packages for the following AN/ALQ-128 subassemblies: 1. Type 2 Receiver 1A4, 1A6, 1A8, 1A10 and 2. Type 3 Receiver 1A5, 1A7, 1A9, 1A11. The goal of this project is to improve the reliability and maintainability of the system by replacing components that are obsolete or have exhibited low Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) with new form, fit and function assemblies. The contractor shall provide engineering services to design build, test , produce and qualify a vendor for form, fit and function prototype for the assemblies in the quantities indicated as follows: 1. Type 2 Receiver, 2 prototypes and 2. Type 3 Receiver, 2 prototypes. Period of Performance shall be 12 months after receipt of order (ARO). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to RAYTHEON COMPANY, 1010 PRODUCTION RD, FORT WAYNE IN 46808-4106 (Cage Code 37695) under the authority of 6.302 under contract F09603-02-D-0101.
