- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for security upgrades at its Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center in Ada, Oklahoma. The required work includes new security gates, bollards, planters, and boulders; adjustment of the parking lot layout; new security cameras at various locations around the site; new access devices at the main building; relocating the gas meter and associated piping; new security fencing at the gas meter and standby generator; new irrigation system and other associated site improvements. A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated. Price and past performance will be the primary evaluation factors, with these two factors being approximately equal in importance. The anticipated contract performance period is six months after receipt of the notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be released through the internet on EPA?s home page at www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd/. Prospective offerors can download the Request for Proposals and related documents from this website on or about August 8, 2006. This is an unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
