- NAICS Code: 541990 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Stratospheric Protection Division (SPD) is soliciting qualified businesses, in order to competitively award a fixed-price Purchase Order. The SunWise Program is an environmental and health education program that aims to teach children and their caregivers how to protect themselves from overexposure to the sun to avoid the risk of skin cancer and other adverse health effects. Through the use of classroom, school, and community-based components, SunWise seeks to develop sustained sun-safe behaviors in children. Under this FAR Part 13 acquisition, the contractor shall assist in the evaluation of the SunWise Program by completing tasks such as conducting student surveys to determine changes in their knowledge, attitudes and behavior by educators; providing skin cancer expertise support in the cost/benefit analysis of the SunWise Program and publication in a peer reviewed journal, and design the evaluation of a pilot travel initiative based on skin cancer prevention principles. The estimated level of effort is 850 hours, and the estimated value is below the simplified acquisition threshold.
