- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, CT to add the ability to load software updates to seven Adavanced Flight Control Computers (AFCC) to the AFCC Test Set. The test set provides test and diagnostic capability for the Flight Control Computers on the MH-60S helicopter. The Government does not own drawings or proprietary rights to the software, AFCC or the AFCC Test Set. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to the notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
