Description

The USGS intends to award a sole-source contract to CODAR Ocean Sensors of Mountain View, CA development of a device to map surface current velocity vectors at channel junctions in the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta in California. This is the only known entity with the technical knowledge and proven track record to develop the required equipment. The proposed contract action is for goods for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Sacramento, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail only (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date. This procurement is pending availability of funds and will be processed to point of award.
