- Description
- This project consists of the construction of an Urban Assault Course (UAC) based on the most recent designs by the Combined Arms MOUT Task Force (CAMTF)at Fort Hunter Liggett,CA. The project is a five (5) station training facility consisting of an I ndividual/Team Trainer (830 sf), Squad/Platoon Trainer (7 buildings totaling 2560 sf), Grenadier Gunnery Trainer, Offense/Defense House (3843 sf), and an Underground Trainer (370 LF). The facility also includes an operations/storage building (800 sf). Co nstruction will include structurally reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete pipe installation, masonry construction, timber construction, pre-cast concrete hollow-core panel installation, gravel road construction, and excavations for foundation work a long with clearing and grading. There will be generator installation and basic electric wiring installation along with some minimal mechanical system installations. Fiber installations for telecom and communications systems will be required along with co ordination for targets and other systems. The evaluation factors for this project will be Prime Contractor Construction Experience, Past Performance, Price Proposal, and Pro Forma Requirements. The estimated performance period is 330 days. The estimated cost of this project falls in the range of $1 to $5 Million. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 8 August 2006 with proposals due on or about 8 September 2006 with award on or about 30 September 2006. This is a Full and Open Procurement, subject to the price evaluation preference for Hubzone Small Business concerns. Questions may be addressed to Cassandra A.
