Option II: Item 2001; NSN 6685-01-147-9063RN; Part Number H261-1; Pyrometer (Temperature Indicator Tester); Applicable to: Multiple Aircraft; Quantity Range 1-20 each; Delivery: TBD. A Firm-Fixed Price requirement is contemplated to Howell Instruments, cage code 98869 or a limited number of its distributors. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 23 Jul 2006 with a response by 23 Aug 2006. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to this procurement described above are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Proposals received from other than approved sources Federal Products Corp., will be evaluated for future procurements. Approved sources must be registered with Central Contractor Registration, including the on-line certifications and representations website, to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity.
