- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to LTI Datacomm, located at 11367 Sunset Hills Road, Reston VA 20190 to purchase the following V-Brick Server. The requirements needed are as follows: V-Brick EtherneTV Live Portal Server must include StreamPlayer software, configured to automatically download to the end user upon accessing the Live Portal Server. Must include 100 MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 software decoder licenses and unlimited MPEG-1 software decoder licenses. The software must be pre-installed on a high performance web server with Intel Xeon 2.8 GHz (or higher) processor, 1 GB RAM, and 73 GB Hard Drive. The server is pre-installed with the Live Portal Server software, Windows Server, 2003 Web Edition, and the MySQL database to manage configuration information. This will be firm-fixed price contract. If there are any small businesses that can provide the specified items, they must respond to this notice before 1200 hrs (central time) on 27 July 2006. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with LTI Datacomm will be pursued. The point of contact (POC) for this notice is Donald Perkins.
