- Description
- The 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, MO is issuing a Request for Proposal to maintain Engineering Professional Services (EPS) Security Solutions (formerly Vikonics, Inc.) equipment. The RFP is to perform inspection, maintenance, routine testing and repair/emergency repair on the Automated Entry Control System / Intrusion Detection System (AECS/IDS) and EPS Badging System installed in various facilities on Whiteman Air Force Base. The solicitation number is FA4625-06-R-0002. This will be issued as a Commercial Solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 12. The SIC Code is 7382, and the NAICS Code is 561621. This will be contract with a Basic Year plus six (6) options years. The RFP will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps; Paper copies will not be made available.) Notes: Any Prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) has been implemented and is effective as of 1 Jan 05. ORCA enables vendors to submit and update their representations and certifications on-line. ORCA is part of the Business Partner Network (BPN) and is located at (http://orca.bpn.gov). The ORCA site contains an ORCA Application Handbook and an ORCA Quick Reference Guide. The Contracting Officer will not be responsible for notifying vendors of Amendments to this solicitation. It is your responsibility to monitor the FedBizOps web page for changes to the solicitation. Prospective contractor and his employees must possess or obtain a security clearance at the classification level of secret or higher at the contractor?s expense.
