- Description
- The USCG MLCP in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Dockside Repairs on USCGC MAPLE, a 225 ft buoy tender, homeport of Sitka, AK. All work will be accomplished at a contractor's facility, during the period of 16 Jan through 16 Feb 2007. Work may include, but is not limited to the following; Clean and inspect ballast tanks, clean and inspect dirty and oily water tanks, renew watertight door and hatch, stern tube seawater supply modification, reverse osmosis foundation mod, clean and inspect thruster motors and generator, preserve potable water tank, renew interior deck coverings, reseal interior deck coverings and temporary services provide. On or about 15 Aug 2006, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified small business firms may submit a proposal. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds/gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as autorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
