- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY ? The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intend to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Center for Aging Healthcare in West Virginia (CAHWV), 517 Market Street, Dils Center, Parkersburg, WV 26101. The purpose of this contract is to conduct an analysis of the data from the health promotion nurse intervention of chronic disease self-management models to determine if rural/urban differences exist for rural populations. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. The period of performance for this project is 8 months. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.601-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. RESPONDENTS WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION.
