- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology intends to issue a sole source, follow-on, commercial contract to MetroSage, LLC, 26896 Shake Ridge Road, Volcano, CA 95689-9610, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b). The resulting contract will provide software enhancements to the existing proprietary Pundit/CMM MetroSage software, and includes maintenance for twelve months, to assist the Dimensional Metrology Program within the Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory of NIST, to develop technology to improve U.S. industrial dimensional metrology. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, capability statements and quotes received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
