Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Physical and Chemical Properties Division, requires the purchase and integration of one (1) Ardara Q-TOF Kit System or equivalent. This requirement will be posted as a brand name or equal requirement. Brand name or equal description is intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be considered satisfactory to meet the agency?s needs. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. This requirement is being procured using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13, under full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333911 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, any subsequent amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-06-Q-0491. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about July 28, 2006, and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
