Description: The Francis Marion National Forest has a requirement for tree thinning / bio-mass removal. The project location is within 10 miles of Awendaw, SC. The type of contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract. Period of performance is a basic year and four option years. Guaranteed minimum is $100,000 over the life of the contract and contract maximum is $1,000,000.00 over the life of the contract. Work involved under this contract will include road maintenenace and road construction in the project area. Contractor will performe tree thinning in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Contractors will pay the Forest Service the value of the materials hauled off for BIO Mass. The soliciation will be available on this website on or about 8 Aug 2006.
