- Description
- The Gifford Pinchot National Forest is soliciting prospective contractors for preventative road maintenance work to be performed primarily on the south end of the forest. This project will address actual and potential drainage related issues on Forest Service road. The predominant work will be the construction of various types of water bars and cross ditches. Other work will include cleaning culverts and minor spot brushing necessary to accomplish work. Contract performance period for this project will be 60 days with work starting in early August of 2006. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 with a corresponding size standard of $6.5 million. This project will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated date of issuance for the solicitation is July 12, 2006. Contract will be awarded to the offeror presenting the best value to the Forest Service based upon, among other factors, price, experience, and past performance. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register below to receive notification of any postings concerning this project. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available at this Internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
