- Total Hub-Zone Set-Aside The purpose of this contract is to construct the Boundry Public Works Road project. The project consists of 0.455 miles of linear grading road construction; work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, haul, culvert installation, seeding, pit development, erosion control, mobilization, and the furnishing and installation of a gate near the project beginning. The project area is located on the Ketchikan-Misty Fiords Ranger District, approximately 7.2 miles west of the Revilla Road intersection towards Harriet Hunt within the city limits of Ketchikan, Alaska. Ketchikan is located on Revillagigedo Island in Southeast Alaska and is accessible via commercial air, the Alaska Marine Highway ferry and commercial barge service. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $100,000 - $250,000. The performance period is 270 calendar days. The work is set-aside for HubZone Small Businesses. The Forest Service anticipates issuing the Notice to Proceed on or about September 15, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about August 7, 2006 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.747.4289. Fax requests should reference solicitation IFB AG-0116-S-06-0057. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
