Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Lip seals, P/N JCM-16664-001 (Qty. 955) in support of the Submersible Ship Guided Missile, Nuclear (SSGN) program. Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a Firm Fixed price contract with Sandem Industries. They are the only known source for these items because they are the only approved source per lip seal drawing JCM-16664. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation N66604-06-R-4181 will be released on or about 08/04/06.
