- The USGS intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Hydroacoustic Technology of Seattle, WA for two (2) Model 295-I acoustic tag data loggers and related software/hardware, and eighty (80) Model 795s micro-acoustic tags. This is the only known company that provides tags and listening stations that are compatible with existing USGS equipment. The proposed contract action is for goods for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Sacramento, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in this announcement.
