- The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 8/4/2006. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued; telephone and fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The Department of the Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS) is soliciting quotes from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. The work of this contract consists of cutting and removing Eastern Red Cedar and Ash Juniper on tracts of land up to 39.2 acres. Award will be made considering best value to the Government. Price is approximately equal in importance to non-price. The anticipated award date is September 6, 2006. Contract duration is 180 days from the notice to proceed. All work must be completed by February 15, 2007. Chickasaw National Recreation Area is approximately 85 miles south of Oklahoma City. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Code for this project is 115310 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. All quotes submitted in a timely manner from responsible vendors will be considered. Responses will be due August 25, 2006, unless extended. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors must register with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at the internet website www.ccr.gov prior to submitting quotes.
