Description: The work consists of furnishing all plant, equipment and materials,a nd performing all operation in connection with supplying 65,000 tons of clay gravel to the Yazoo Mississippi Delta Levee Board. There are also two (2) options for 50,000 tons of cl ay gravel that will be subject to the availability of funds. This work is for the supply of gravel on the existing levee crown roadway and associated levee ramps from STA 0/0+00 near the Tennessee/Mississippi state line at STA 50/0+00, near Tunica/Coahoma county line. The work is in the Yazoo Mississippi Delta Levee Board, and that entity will spread the gravel. Solicitation W912EQ-06-T-0016 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Vendors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. A ll responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of the method of delivery, it is the offerors r esponsibilty to ensure receipt of the quote(s) by the time and date stated herein.
