Description
This notice is being issued seeking interest from Industry to enter into non-exclusive partnerships with the U.S. Army Materiel Commands (AMC) maintenance and storage Depots and manufacturing Arsenals. AMC has significant industrial capabilities wh ich can supplement private sector work on Defense requirements and perform some commercial type work. The goal of AMC is to build mutually beneficial relationships that build on the strengths of each partner and to create increased value. Background The U.S. Army Materiel Command is the Armys premier provider of materiel readiness- technology, acquisition support, materiel development, logistics power projection, and sustainment- to the total force, across the spectrum of joint military operations. AMC has significant industrial capabilities which can supplement private sector capabilities. AMC's capabilities are critical to sustaining readiness for the current and future military force, and partnerships can clearly enable AMC to provide superior su pport to field commanders.
