Description

On behalf of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and in accordance with FAR 6.3,the Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) proposes to procure services for the period of 20 September 2006 through 19 July 2007 with two one-year options for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. It is the Governments intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with CACI Enterprise Solutions; 4114 Legato Road; Fairfax, VA for automated software tools support to the Joint Staff Programming and Budget Branch (PBB) and the Financial Management Branch (FMB). The two software tools are the Programming and Budget System (PBS) and the Comptrollers Automated Budget System (CABS) which are based on the CGI-AMS Momentum Financials software product. CACI is the only authorized reseller to DoD customers. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals no later than 10 days from the date of this an nouncemen t. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
