- Description
- Elmendorf AFB, AK has a requirement for one (1) man-year of support for a Personnel Recovery Exercise Planner. A solicitation will be issued within 30 days. The anticipated period of performance will be 15 September 2006 through 30 September 2007. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services necessary to fulfill ALCOM/JTF-AK Personnel Recovery (PR) Exercise Planner objectives. The contractor will be required to perform the following services: support PR task execution during NORTHERN EDGE and ARCTIC SAREX exercises; coordinate efforts to develop, exercise and refine joint PR Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs); assist in all areas of development, preparation and prosecution of PR exercises; coordinate with military services, federal organizations, and state, local and private organizations; and provide reports to ALCOM/JTF-AK J7. Contractor must be willing to travel to the continental US approximately four (4) weeks per year. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Offerors must fill in FAR clause 52.212-3, unless they are registered in ORCA, in which case they will only be required to complete 52.212-3 (j).
