- Description
- The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Specialized Contracting Branch anticipates issuance of a solicitation on a full and open competition basis for an Integrated Management Library System (ILMS). The requiring agency is HQ AMC/A7VCG who provides mission, education, and quality of life support to the AMC community. The ILMS system is being procured for 9 AMC general libraries and the Air Mobility Warfare Center, Ronald R. Fogleman academic library. The 9 base libraries are Charleston AFB, SC; Dover AFB, DE; Fairchild AFB, WA; Grand Forks AFB, ND; MacDill AFB, FL; McConnell AFB, KS; McGuire AFB, NJ; Scott AFB, IL; and Travis AFB, CA. This system will provide AMC libraries with an Application Services Provider (ASP), who will host and maintain the server at the contractor location. The ILMS should allow users to perform a single search of all of the library?s holdings (print, non-print, and electronic resources) plus access to holdings of all AMC and AF libraries at the same time in a single search. The system will provide a listing of all the materials, as well as provide full-text of articles and books available through the online catalog, databases, and other electronic resources provided by AMC and the Air Force Library Information System programs. Customers should be able to access this service on a 24-hour basis at any location (i.e. office, home, etc.) that has online access. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract commencing on 1 September 2006 for the base period with four (4) one (1) year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Past Performance Information and Past Performance Questionnaires are due on 11 August 2006, 3:00 P.M. CDST. The due date for proposals submittal is 21 August 2006, 3:00 P.M. CDST.
