Description
This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price four-year IDIQ contract, to include a one year basic period and three additional one year option periods for the procurement of Test Emergency Oxygen Mask Adapter Kit applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The Test Emergency Oxygen Mask Adapter Kit tests the lavatory, passenger, and centerline automatic opening oxygen regulator valves and dispensing manifold. This test is to ensure oxygen mask deployment during rapid decompression in the cargo compartment. CLIN 0001: NSN: 4920014922727BA; NOUN: Test Emergency Oxygen Adapter Kit; P/N: 17G470080-1; HEIGHT: 6 Inches; WIDTH: 12 Inches; DEPTH: 12 Inches; WEIGHT: 30 lbs; MATL: Hard Plastic Case, Stainless Steel Tube, & Cable (data available for manufacturing). SCHEDULE: The basic period will include (CLIN 0001), with the quantity of 4 each. There is a First Article requirement (CLIN 0002), whose quantity is 1 unit in addition to the production quantity; Test Plan (CLIN 0003), quantity of 1, and Test Report (CLIN 0004), quantity of 1. Option periods one, two, and three (CLINS 1001, 2001, 3001), consist of the quantity range 1-10 each to be exercised from. DELIVERY: The Test Plan is due 60 days from date of contract, the Test Report is due 180 days from date of contract, and the First Article is due 240 days after receipt of contract. Production articles are due 120 days after receipt of First Article, FOB DESTINATION to (FD2090) BOEING LOGISTICS SPARESINC, 5690 SOUTHFIELD DR., FOREST PARK GA 30297-2524. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 07 Aug 2006 with the approximate response date of 06 Sep 2006. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. This Solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP). JUSTIFICATION: 10 U.S.C. (a), Full and Open Competition. ?Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award.? See Numbered Note 23.
