- Project: Install Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) which consists of two (2) Marley Quadraflow #22221 cooling towers and tower accessories at Sheppard AFB, TX, Building 1951. Work will consist of furnishing all skilled labor, materials, equipment, expert supervision and associated activity to perform installation of two (2) Government furnished Marley brand, Quadraflow cooling towers. </p> All work shall be done with the work area unoccupied and the worksite will be available to the contractor at all times during normal duty hours. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR) and base contracting through the contracting officer. Performance period is 60 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This time allows for delivery of all materials and installation. All work shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work and Equipment Specifications. </p> Magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation is being issued for full and open competition. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $13 million dollars. Solicitation and subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://www.fbo.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and ORCA in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ telephone 1-888-227-2423. The solicitation will be issued no later than 25 July 2006. Questions concerning the solicitation must be emailed to Cynthia Woods at cynthia.woods@sheppard.af.mil. Estimated proposal due date is on or about 28 July 2006. Due to the urgency of the requirement the Government is seeking a shortened solicitation period. </p>
