- Description
- The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System intends to retrofit 10 existing Lionville Model 800 Med Carts with power and wireless computer capability. The contractor will install a Pentium M all-in-one PC with wireless capability onto the Med Carts located at the Bay Pines location and install and integrate a new rechargeable battery-based power supply which will allow extended run times. The contractor will provide ten (10) Lionville 800 series carts (SN 37878) including 42 AH battery, charger, smart battery controller, cabling, prepped for bar code scanner (CFE), brackets and parts; and three (3) Micro Industries Touch&Go paige All-in-One 17" Flat panel monitor (1280 x 1024) with Intel Pentium M computer, 1.6 GHZ, 512 MB DDR SDRAM, 20GB+ HD, WIN EX Professional, Cisco 802.11 A/B/G WLAN, 4 USB Ports, Sound Acoustic Wave (SAW) Touch Screen. All work is to be performed in accordance with industry standards/manufacturers guidelines, and with all terms, conditions, provisions, schedules and specifications of this solicitation. Hard copy solicitations will not be made available. Contractors may obtain a copy of the solicitation and any attachments at the following URL: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. All quotes must be returned to the address in block 9 of the SF 1449. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330 applies to this procurement. This is a 100% total small disadvantaged business set-aside. This solicitation is being issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, and will be issued on or about July 24, 2006 with quotes due on or about August 2, 2006. The anticipated award date is on or before August 4, 2006.
