- Description
- The Precision Engineering Div. at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement requiring access to and use of a high-magnetic field, small-bore Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility for imaging prototype flow devices and small animalmodels. The specific tasks pursuant to this research are described in the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about July 24, 2006, utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price Purchase Order on or about August 11, 2006 with a 4.5-mo. performance period. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
