- Description
- The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, New Mexico State Office is requesting bids for a flood control project identified as Sandia Mountain Tributaries, Site 1. The construction to be performed under this contract is for the rehabilitation of the structure. The work will include but may not be limited to approximately 39,000 cubic yards of excavation for construction of an auxiliary spillway revetment consisting of approximately 10,500 cubic yards of roller compacted concrete; approximately 39,000 cubic yards of compacted earth fill; installation of a covered-baffle to the principal spillway inlet; installation of a reinforced concrete pipe drop with a reinforced concrete impact basin at the principal spillway outlet; grading of the top of the dam and construction of a 295 foot long access road. This solicitation is unrestricted and the price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation package is scheduled to be posted at http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 7, 2006.
