- PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This amendment shall be acknowledged with any quotation submitted in response to this notice. The following questions are being answered by the amendment: 1. What is the performance media? Answer: They will be installed on a coal boiler. The filters are located on the flue gas stream which has flyash in the gas stream. 2. What is the micron, amount of filtration level, to get the required specification? Answer: The way to measure the filters is by the air to cloth ratio and the percent of efficiency. They do not use micron as a measurement. Air to Cloth Ratios All compartments on line 1.44:1 One Compartment Cleaning 1.72:1 One Compartment Cleaning 2.16:1 & One Compartment out for maintenance The efficiency should be at least 99.9% End of amendment NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-JUL-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
