Description

The Social Security Administration in Chicago, Illinois requires the services of a contractor to provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment to efficiently and satisfactorily remove the existing cooling tower fill material from a Baltimore Aircoil (BAC) Series 3000 cooling tower (model # 3458-4) and provide and install a new Baltimore Aircoil Versacross replacement fill kit. The fill kit shall consist of a BAC Versacross crossflow cooling tower fill and be complete with pre-engineered support for the cooling tower series and model number mentioned. The work shall take place at the Harold Washington Social Security Administration, 600 West Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661. The solicitation package SSA-RFQ-05-06-0012 will be available for downloading from the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about August 4, 2006. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM, Chicago time at the HWSSC building, 600 West Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661. Offers received form firms that do not qualify as a small business will be rejected. No telephone, fax, or email request for hardcopy solicitation packages will be accepted.
