- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LIQUID METHANE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to change the required number of gallons of Liquid Methane from a total of 55,000 to a total of 7,500 gallons. Also the intial delivery and offload of 6,000 gallons by July 24, 2006 has been changed to the delivery and offload of 4,500 gallons at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) no later than noon on August 7,2006. The remaining 3,000 gallons will be delivered and offloaded at MSFC no later than noon August 10, 2006. The purity rate must be greater than 99% for each delivery. Offerors shall utilize a self purging tank and identify within their quote the type of connection for the tank transfer. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time July 26, 2006. All technical questions shall be submitted electronically by or before July 25, 2006 to the individual(s)listed below. Phone calls will not be accepted in regards to this requirement. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time July 26, 2006. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
