- NASA/MSFC has a requirement for Mathworks yearly maintenance renewal. NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Mathworks, Inc. on a sole source basis. This maintenance is the proprietary property of MathWorks and is not distributed through third party channels. This maintenance is required by the numerous projects that NASA/MSFC supports. This product is required ASAP in order to meet the commitments of several projects. The requirements are listed as follows: 1 SUBML,MATLAB? Maintenance 2 SUBSL,Simulink? Maintenance 3 SUBCO,MATLAB? Compiler Maintenance 4 SUBCT,ControlSystem Toolbox Maintenance 5 SUBDA,Data Acquisition Toolbox Maintenan 6 SUBEM,ExtendedSymbolic Math Toolbox Main 7 SUBFL,Fuzzy Logic Toolbox Maintenance 8 SUBID,System Identification Toolbox Main 9 SUBIP,Image Processing Toolbox Maintenan 10 SUBNN,Neural Network Toolbox Maintenance 11 SUBOP,Optimization Toolbox Maintenance 12 SUBRT,Real-Time Workshop? Maintenance 13 SUBSA,Simulink? Accelerator Maintenance 14 SUBSD,Simulink? Control Design Maintenan 15 SUBSF,Stateflow? Maintenance 16 SUBSG,Signal Processing Toolbox Maintena 17 SUBVV,Simulink? Verification and Validat The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Judith R. Drabkin @ Judith.R.Drabkin@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 25, 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
