- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and miscellaneous services necessary to perform the following: Base Bid Work: provide building addition at the U. S. Geological Survey?s Gosnold Building, Quissett Campus, Woods Hole MA to include but not limited to selective demolition, site work and utilities, concrete foundations, structural steel, partitioning, finishes, doors and frames, windows, aluminum storefront, membrane roofing, metal roofing, TPO roofing system, operable panel partition, projection screens, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm systems, and incidental related work. The work shall be phased in accordance with the approved schedule in order to provide for the safety and utility services for the building occupants remaining in the rest of the building during the work of this contract. Option 1 Work: Provide labor, materials, equipment and miscellaneous services necessary to provide the bridge connector and south wing of the addition as indicated, including, but not limited to site work and utilities, concrete foundation, pre-cast concrete, structural steel, TPO roofing system, vegetative roofing system, partitioning, food service equipment, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm, finishes, doors and frames, windows, and incidental detail work. This solicitation is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted. Both small and large businesses may submit proposals. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, with a size standard of $31 MIL. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 (inclusive of option item). Performance is estimated to be a total of 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The successful contractor will be selected using a Best Value/tradeoff process. Evaluation factors will include price and past performance.
