- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to issue a sole source contract commercial contract for three (3) years of support for the Z-Backscatter X-Ray System to American Science and Engineering, Inc. (AS&E), 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA, 01821. Support will include Field Service Representatives, Preventive and Corrective maintenance, extended warranties, and chassis repairs. Due to the proprietary nature of the systems requiring sustainment actions, AS&E is the only vendor capable of fulfilling this requirement. No RFP is available for competitive bidding, however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement no later than close of business on 03 August 2006 to the contact person listed above.
