- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) is soliciting sources for Thermal and moisture protection for the Flight Training Facility, Building 4041 at Kaneohe, Hawaii. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquistion of commercial items. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotation are those in effect through FAC 2005-11. The solicitation number is M00318-06-T-0018. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) and the small business standard for this procurement is 238320 and $13.0M respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Note: A site visit will be conducted on 27 July 2006 at 9:00am to all interested parties. If interested party does not attend the site visit, and an award is made to them; they are required to fulfill the requirements at their offered price. Coordinator or POC is Mr. Dean Tamayori at 808-257-2171 Ext 234 or Mr. George Oshiro at Ext 279 for site visit. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) Technical, 2) Past performance, 3) Price. Solicitation will be available on or around 20 July 2006.
