- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue solicitation N65236-06-R-0864 as a sole source commercial item contract pursuant to the test procedures under FAR 13.5 to TCI International, Inc., 46300 Kato Rd, Fremont, CA 94538. The procurement covers the purchase of two (2) Tactical Wideband VHF/UHF DF System to be integrated into the existing SIGNET Exploitation System. TCI is the only manufacturer that can meet specific critical design, functional and operational requirements to meet this time sensitive quick reaction capability in support of the Multi-National Corps-Iraq mission. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The FSC Code is 5865. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a notice of intent and is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may inquire about the process to have their products tested and evaluated for future procurements by submitting their comments in writing to Mr. Hanh Chau, Code 0271HC, Contract Specialist, at hanh.h.chau@navy.mil no later than 1200 (EST) on 27 July 2006.
