- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Repair/Overhaul of Mossberg Model 500 A1 Shotguns, in accordance with Government Repair/Inspection Procedure. The Government requires a minimum/maximum quantity of 500/12,000 guns. This procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis with O.F. Mossberg in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304?(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at source. The solicitation will be available on or about 10 August 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?.
