- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Central Region, Geographic Information Office has a requirement to acquire imagery for El Paso urban area in response to a Department of Defense (DOD) request for high-resolution imagery over 134 urban areas in support of Homeland Security. The imagery will True 6-inch Ground Sample Distance; True Natural color; Horizontal accuracy of +/- 1.5 feet RMSE for 6-inch data; NAD 83 Daturn; State Plane, Texas Central Zone, feet; Tiff with associated world file format; USGS High resolution DOQ requirement. Imagery must be less than 2 years old. The total cost to the government is 21.7% of the total cost of data for which the government will receive a license free deliverable to be used in the public domain. The U.S. Geological Survey considers this specified requirement as a sole source to Texas Department of Transportation, Planning and Development, 13301 Gateway West, El Paso, Texas 79928. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services at the same cost may submit a capabilities statement to the contracting officer USGS, PO Box 25046 Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 8025-0046 no later than the closing date of this requirement (08/03/2006) 3:00 PM MST. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist; if no submissions are receivced by the above appointed time, the Government will proceed with noncompetitive award without further notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ); the Government does not anticipate issuing a written solicitation. This notice and any resulting contract or order conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-04, effective 08 June 2005. No number notes apply.
