- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary to provide seeding services for the BIA, Navajo Region, DOT, CHEU, Project N5000, in Toadlena, New Mexico, San Juan County. Contractor to provide: 1) Equipment and Manpower adequate to dry seed approximately 65 HA at road project N5000; 2) Placement of seeding shall meet standard of FP-96, Section 625 ?Turf Establishment?; 3) Type of seed and pure live seed rate will meet Section 625.07; 4) Fertilizing and mulching will meet the standard, Section 625.06 and 625.08; 5) Traffic control, additional labor and any other required work will be performed by BIA-DOT. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price service contract. This is a full and open competition acquisition, and is set-aside for small business. Period of Performance will be 30 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid opening date is scheduled at 10:30 A.M. (local time), August 21, 2006, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Twenty (20) sets of solicitation packages will be available on a first come, first serve basis until the supply is exhausted. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing seven (7) days before the closing date. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. (505) 863-8382, Attention: Lynelle Benallie. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
